12K's of Christmas

Well it was more like 5K's of Christmas for me this year. ;) I ran in my first race in over a year yesterday in Kirkland. I ran with my friend Michelle and we did the 5K portion of the 12K's of Christmas. It felt great to be doing a race again! Of course it had to be drizzling on this one morning out of all mornings this December though. At least it wasn't too cold. The first mile of the 5K was pretty much uphill but then after that it was mostly downhill and then flat for the last mile. I'm proud to say we ran the whole time without stopping! Bring on our next half marathon! :)
